Kati first unofficially met John when she went to visit her friend Hunter Morris at Shepherd University in 2015. John was in Hunter’s friend group so Kati spent time around John the weekend that she visited. Kati even had John’s number in her phone in case she got split up from the group. Kati and John followed each other on Instagram after that weekend. After graduating from Shepherd, John moved down to Charleston, South Carolina in 2017 until he moved back to Annapolis in November 2021. In February 2022, Kati and John reconnected on Hinge and had their first official date on February 11, 2022. After almost three years together, John proposed to Kati on December 21, 2024 during her favorite time of year. They couldn't be more excited to start their lives together and can't wait to celebrate with friends and family!
